CHRISTUS Cares For Physicians
Taking excellent care of our physicians is integral to achieving the CHRISTUS Health mission and vision. The physician-only board of directors that governs our physician group offers diverse representation of race, gender, and background, as well as geographic region and area of practice. The board oversees all clinical and quality aspects of our medical practice, including the hiring and termination of physicians.
At CHRISTUS Health, our medical practices are managed by one physician leader and one administrative leader, who together function as dyad partners. These partners are responsible for clinic performance, focusing on quality, service, and access.
- Quality: Quality scores ≥ 90% nationally
- Service: Service scores ≥ 90% HCAHPS and CGCAHPS
- Access: All new patients are seen within 7 days, and those with urgent needs on the same day
